Vacancy - Head of Consumables Sales The role, Head of Consumables Sales, is a new and exciting opportunity primarily focussing on the growth of our brands Plus-Ribbon™, Plus-Card and Plus-Clean. Our Plus-Brand range has more than 12 years combined experience and is proving to be the Worlds preferred Compatible range of media used in ID Card Printers and now already selling in over 55 countries. Desktop card printers permit any organisation to print, customise and issue plastic cards on demand. Examples include National ID Cards, Staff ID, Membership, and Loyalty.

Whilst embryonic today, the latest industry developments in desktop card printing now permit financial institutions to print and issue credit and debit cards at branch level and many leading bank card issuers are now adopting this new practice. Huge growth potential!

As a key member of this new and focussed consumables division, your role will be to define and implement the sales/distribution strategy and business plans to support the delivery of volume and profit on an exceptional scale. You will recruit, develop and manage a sales team and ensure best practice and business development techniques are implemented.

Crucial to this will be the building and nurturing of key relationships within relevant trade/professional bodies, associations and industry influencers. Primary sales channels include General Resellers, VAR’s, System Integrators, IT Distributors and Card Printing Service Bureaus.

Who we're looking for?
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience gained in Sales and Marketing Management environments, most likely from the IT consumables, Office Supplies or Security focussed industries. You will be Degree qualified or equivalent and a strong influencer who has a proven profit achievement and management track record from either the B2C or B2B markets. Having a broad understanding of the IT, fast moving Office Supplies and/or Security industries/markets would give you a distinct advantage.
